Real Madrid And Atletico Madrid Play Out 0-0 Draw In First Leg Of UCL Clash

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid played out an interesting draw at the Vincente Calderon in the first leg of their UEFA champions league quarter final clash.
Real Madrid settled quicker than their cross-town rivals and moved the ball about with relative ease but failed to create clear cut chances in the first half as Ronaldo was well shadowed by the Atletico Madrid defense. The second half of the game was characterized by little fights here and there between players from both sides. Most of the fights involved Mario Mandzukic who had to be taken off the pitch three times to treat an injury he sustained around his eye when he came together with Sergio Ramos. The Croatian also managed to get himself booked alongside Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Mario Suarez, Raul Garcia and a few others.

The second leg of the clash would be played in a week’s time at the Santiago Bernabeu.
