Gone are those days whereby a caller will call you on your landline and you would be asking him or her to still give his or her number for you to write it down. With Advancement in technology field, Caller ID comes in fashion few years back. And now all phones have inbuilt caller ID Which displays the phone number of caller. Its really a good feature.

But sometimes you need some little privacy, you did not want to show your number to whom you call especially when it comes to an issue whereby someone is not picking your calls and you really need to talk to him or her.
You may get frustrated when trying to call a friend that owns you some money and he or she did not want to pick your call which may lead you to want to HIDE your phone number to call him or her. And am not sure that android phones of nowadays have the feature of turning “on” or turning “off” your caller ID, though they may add it in future Android devices by God’s grace.
Well, I did some research when I had to hide my phone number in the name of “experiment”.
But with my research and findings, I discovered that there are many apps for hiding your ID on your smart phone, otherwise you can also use direct code to make your number private.

In case you prefer using an app, you have to Visit Google Play Store and search for “Caller ID Hider” you will see many of them there.
Though, not all those Apps may work for your device, so you have to try it first on your neighbour’s phone before saying “IT WORKS”, but I prefer using code instead, because of my phone’s bandwidth.

How To Hide Your Phone Number using Code on Android Phone in Nigeria

For this method, you need to add some code before the phone number.
All you need to do is Dial #31# before the number.
Example: Suppose you want to call
0818-513-0782 from your Android phone. Then dial
#31#-0818-513-0782. Which is this #31#08185130782 .
Your number will appear as a Hidden number on the person’s phone. But remember… It works on other phones like Nokia, don’t know for other phones right now, but if in case it worked for you, just tell us the phone model using the comment form below.
