Sarkodie, has revealed that he is ready to drop a new album this year.
Sarkodie who featured many prominent Nigerian artistes in 2014 announced that the album took two years to record mostly because all instruments on it was recorded live and is titled “Mary”.
He also revealed the album cover which features a photo of his granny who he named the album after.
According to him, the reason for the album title and cover art is that his late GrandMa always wanted him to record live music but couldn’t live to see him do it… adding that “I know my fans will love this project and appreciate it due the amount work and effort that went into it… documented the whole studio sessions and promise to share with yall!!!”
